Pacific Open Heart Association donates $6,200 for two medication carts for Cardiac Unit at RCH
New Westminster, B.C., July 13, 2007 — On July 11, the Pacific Open Heart Association contributed $6,200 for two new medication carts at Royal Columbian Hospital’s Cardiac Unit.
Formed in 1988, the Pacific Open Heart Association members have all had open heart surgery and visit hospitals to offer moral support to patients as well as fund cardiac equipment. In addition, the Association supports cardiac education at RCH. To date, they have donated $14,500 to RCH Foundation to help fund new cardiac equipment at the hospital.
