RBC has added its name to Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation’s Cardiac Care Campaign.

A $20,000 gift from RBC Foundation will help upgrade the equipment inside the hospital’s two cardiac catheterization labs, which provide life-saving treatment for cardiac emergencies from across Fraser Health — an area stretching from Burnaby to Boston Bar, including more than 1.7 million residents.

These much-used cath labs are in need of full upgrades to introduce the latest technology and make sure Royal Columbian continues to deliver the highest level of care to some of the most seriously ill and injured patients in the province. Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation is raising $3.3 million towards this goal.

RBC has a history of giving to Royal Columbian Hospital that dates back more than 25 years, totalling more than $300,000 in that time.
