New Westminster, B.C. – {October 6, 2020} – Phoenix Truck & Crane continues to demonstrate its concern for children in care at Royal Columbian Hospital.
The freight and crane services company has made a new gift of $11,360.16 to purchase equipment for the pediatric department.
A bili-therapy spot type is a phototherapy system that is placed over a baby’s bassinette to help treat jaundice in newborns.
The company has also purchased a sleeper sofa to help provide extra comfort to parents who stay overnight with their child in hospital.
Royal Columbian’s pediatrics department provides a high level of care to more than 1,000 children each year, from communities including Burnaby, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, New Westminster, Pitt Meadows, Port Moody and Port Coquitlam.
