McQuarrie Hunter LLP shines light on mental health at Royal Columbian

New Westminster, B.C. – {November 5, 2020} – For over 20 years, McQuarrie Hunter LLP has stepped forward to support a variety of initiatives at Royal Columbian Hospital – most recently, the Mental Health and Substance Use Wellness Centre.

The new mental health centre opened in the summer 2020 and offers two and a half times as many beds as currently available. These include 45 adult inpatient beds, 10 high acuity beds, and, in a first for Fraser Health, a 20-bed Older Adult Psychiatric Unit to serve the unique needs of seniors from throughout the region.

McQuarrie Hunter LLP is a multi-practice firm that is optimally sized to meet the needs of a diverse range of business, individual and institutional clients. The law firm of McQuarrie Hunter was formally established in 1967, however, its roots go back as far as 1936 when Colin D. McQuarrie was called to the Bar in British Columbia and opened his practice in New Westminster.
