A donation from the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry Local 170 is supporting surgical quality at Royal Columbian Hospital.
The $25,000 gift to Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation helped fund a symposium to discuss surgical quality initiatives at the hospital. More than 100 health care providers gathered in late February for the symposium.
