Amazon Spreads Holiday Cheer to RCH Pediatrics

This past holiday season, Amazon brought smiles to young patients at Royal Columbian Hospital with the delivery of over 100 toys to the Pediatrics department. On December 17, a festive team of Amazon managers, joined by Santa and his elves, personally dropped off the toys. While some were distributed that day, the rest were reserved for children in isolation to enjoy during the holidays.

Osman Butt, Site Lead at Amazon YVR3, shared the inspiration behind the initiative:

“As a parent, I witnessed the exceptional care provided by Royal Columbian’s Pediatrics ward when my newborn daughter was hospitalized. The compassion and dedication of the staff made a lasting impact on my family,” said Osman. “Giving back to the hospital is our way of showing gratitude and helping other families feel supported during difficult times.”

Amazon’s generosity highlights their strong connection to the community and their hope to inspire others to give back. A big thank you to Amazon and the Pediatrics department for bringing holiday cheer to RCH’s youngest patients!
