RCH’s list of priority equipment needs in 2014/2015 was funded by donors and included:
- ROTEM Bleeding Management System to help reduce the need for blood transfusions during surgery
- Belmont Rapid Infuser to deliver large amounts of warm blood and fluids into critically injured patients who have suffered massive blood loss
- SonoSite Edge ultrasound to help get accurate diagnostic information during care of premature babies
