For a decade, CPKC (Canadian Pacific Kansas City) has been a dedicated supporter of cardiac care at Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH), and in 2024, they continued their commitment with a generous $20,000 gift. This donation will help purchase an anesthesia delivery system for the cardiac operating rooms in the new Jim Pattison Acute Care Tower (JPACT)—ensuring patients receive the highest level of care during life-saving heart surgeries.
CPKC knows that a railway may serve as the arteries of a nation, but at its heart is community. Through CPKC Has Heart, they are improving heart health for men, women, and children across North America, having raised more than $45 million for cardiac initiatives since 2014.
