Doane Grant Thornton Foundation Provides Much Needed Support to Mental Health

The Doane Grant Thornton Foundation was established to organize the collective efforts and significant contributions of Doane Grant Thornton’s employees across Canada, providing additional financial support for local, national and international causes that resonate with their team. In 2023 alone, the Doane Grant Thornton Foundation provided financial support to more than 360 charities across Canada.

Over the past three years, they have been a valued partner, with their local Communities Committee kindly selecting Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation to receive a gift of $10,000 in 2024. Their tremendous contribution is being directed towards mental health initiatives, which will benefit the more than 4,000 people who seek mental health support at Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) annually. Their investment will help us to expand existing services for faster access to more comprehensive care, enhance outpatient care to support recovery and help prevent hospital readmission, address the rising substance use crisis, and provide sustained funding for therapeutic programs.

We are incredibly grateful to the Doane Grant Thornton Foundation and their staff who volunteer their time & talent on the local Communities Committee for their ongoing commitment and support. Thank you sincerely!
