2018 Scotiabank Vancouver Half Marathon & 5K

June 24, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Pounding the Pavement for Preemies, an annual fundraising campaign for Royal Columbian Hospital’s Variety Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, raises funds in support of our tiniest and most vulnerable patients. Join us or support the team during this year’s Scotiabank Charity Challenge on Sunday, June 24, 2018.

Originally inspired by the Van Marrewyk family, who experienced first-hand the exceptional care from Royal Columbian after the birth of their triplets in 2010, our #NICUStrong team brings together the entire community touched by the tireless work of our neonatal intensive care unit.

Join Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation’s team of champions and make a difference in the lives of B.C.’s smallest and most fragile premature babies. Our goal for Pounding the Pavement for Preemies is to raise $100,000 in support of the needs of Royal Columbian Hospital’s NICU.

The neonatal team relies on advanced technology to care for hundreds of newborns each year. Your contribution will help purchase some of the NICU’s most urgent needs – equipment like a state-of-the-art cardiac ultrasound machine to replace the current system that is more than 15 years old.

Run with our team or simply donate to be a part of making miracles happen every day in our NICU!
