The Guzzo family and McDonald’s New Westminster has pledged $27,000 over three years to purchase a Sentec Digital Monitor for the NICU at Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH). The donation will help some of the province’s sickest infants when they need it most.
This is the second gift from the Guzzo family who previously funded a Transcutaneous CO2 Monitor, also for the NICU.
RCH is the only hospital in the province that has high-risk maternity and a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) within the same site, and is also the only hospital in the province that can care for a mother and their unborn child if they are involved in a motor vehicle collision or if the mother has a serious heart, renal or neurological condition that requires immediate treatment.
We are so thankful to the Guzzo family and McDonald’s New Westminster for their support and dedication to helping give British Columbians the best treatment possible.
