Position Title: Manager, Systems and Data
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Vice President, Operations
SALARY RANGE: $73,000 to $86,000
As part of a team of passionate, collaborative, and skilled professionals, the Manager, Systems and Data is a key member of the Operations Team, with a focus on end-to-end donation services including revenue processing, data analytics and management, impact tracking, and software systems overview at the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation (RCHF). This role contributes to the overall success of the portfolio by strategizing innovative solutions and achieving operational efficiency.
ABOUT ROYAL COLUMBIAN HOSPITAL
Royal Columbian provides the highest level of care to the most critically ill and injured from throughout the region and province. We are a provincial referral centre for cardiac care, trauma, neurosciences, high-risk maternity, neonatal intensive care, and mental health. No other hospital in the province provides this level of care, or offers all these services, on one site or in such high volumes.

Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation (RCHF) is an independent charitable organization that raises millions of dollars each year to fund major projects, priority equipment needs, facility enhancements, research, education and innovation at RCH. KEY AREAS OF INVOLEMENT:
Data analytics and management

- Leverage best practices in data governance for Raiser’s Edge (RE), Sage, Raisin, Darelle Givergy, and other relevant systems
- Provide data analytics for overall Foundation performance metrics
- Advise on and prepare complex mailing lists to support fundraising campaigns and strategies
- Support major gift fundraisers with prospect management reporting
- Contribute to reports to senior management and board members
- Establish desktop and dashboard reports and queries, and train others in their use
Revenue processing and process governance

- Process gifts in Raiser’s Edge (RE) using established CRA guidelines and procedures
- Provide leadership on revenue processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Manage, coordinate, and produce acknowledgement letters, receipts and other correspondence
- Serve as a practice leader for Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) non-profit guidance and policies
- Manage system integration of multiple revenue-generating channels
- Train Foundation staff on donation processes and systems with a view to maintaining a high level of data integrity
- Develop and advise on coding logic for gifts, campaigns, and appeals
- Generate gift and fund reports and pledge updates
- Assist with annual Charity Return
Systems Oversight

- Liaise with Fraser Health IT to troubleshoot all software or hardware issues
- Evaluate key systems to ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to RCHF software
- Advise on all new software acquisitions and take part in implementing and maintaining tools and liaising with software vendors
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum requirements
-
- University degree in Business, Computing Science, or Information Management and five to seven years’ increasingly responsible experience in data management, revenue processing and donation services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Advanced knowledge of Raiser’s Edge as well as analytics tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Demonstrated customer-service orientation
