McQuarrie Hunter was a sponsor of the Foundation’s SHINE Gala, and Winkler was co-chair. It raised $280,000 that will go towards the work of the Foundation in helping Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) care for seriously ill and injured patients from across British Columbia. RCH is Fraser Health’s only hospital for neurosurgery, with 1,250 neurosurgeries performed per year. Of these, 85% are unscheduled, emergency cases.
