Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) Cardiologists Dr. Arthur Friesen (far left) and Dr. Akbar Lalani present a cheque for $61,866.10 to Adrienne Bakker, Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation President and CEO, on behalf of the New West Cardiac Research Society. Knowing first-hand how beneficial post-operative education can be to improving outcomes for cardiac patients, the doctors were inspired to give back to their own hospital in support of RCH cardiac patient education.
