Dorothy and David MacDonald recently joined us to place a plaque in memory of their daughter, Frances Perras. Donors since 1998, Dorothy and David wanted to honour their daughter who trained at RCH as a lab technician back in 1972. Frances and her husband, John, were both born at RCH, and were married on July 8th, 1972, the same day as Frances’ parents, Dorothy and David, who were married in 1948. Frances and John’s grandchildren, Noah and Hadley, were also born here in 2011 and 2013. When Frances was young, she volunteered here as a candy striper. She passed away in November of 2013. Thank you to Dorothy and David for so generously remembering Frances with a gift to RCHF.
