Southern Railway of BC (SRY) Continues to Support Areas of Greatest Need at RCH

Southern Railway of British Columbia (SRY) is a major transporter of freight in British Columbia. Based in New Westminster, they provide businesses and customers located in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley with seamless rail connections to markets throughout North America. SRY operates over 125 miles of track and interchanges with four North American Class 1 railroads: CPKC, BNSF, CN, and UP.

In 2012, SRY introduced a unique approach to its charitable giving that recognizes their employees’ safe working practices with donations to Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH). Since then, they have given over $530,000 to the areas of greatest need at RCH, thereby supporting priority equipment purchases, staff education, research initiatives and facility enhancements.

Elevating care through technology is one of RCHF’s main goals and donations to our areas of greatest need help support these efforts greatly. Thank you to SRY and your employees for your phenomenal commitment to both working safely and the communities where you operate!
